WELL, THE FORMULA ONE series for 2006 is upon us, and it's time to make our way to the race tracks of the world and race against the best of what this season has to offer. Formula One 2006 is the licensed franchise of the series so we have donned our helmets and taken it for a spin. One aspect of the game that immediately becomes apparent when you first hit the ignition switch is the vast amount of features and tweaks. First off the starting grid is the choice of country from which your driver hails. Unfortunately New Zealand does not rate an appearance, however Australia is there - plus all the other usual suspects. Next you get to choose the team you are racing for. You'll find all the companies of the 2006 season including Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, Honda, etc. You can create your own character, nickname, face (including a selection of female drivers) and helmet design. Actual game options include Quick Race, Time Trial, a Grand Prix weekend where you time trial to qualify and run the big race, World Championship, and a full Career Mode. Once you have selected the race type you can choose a track from all the current tracks in the 2006 World Championship circuit. It does not stop there though; you can customise most of the game play, including the difficulty, damage settings, length of race, steering and the gearing. Just as well too, as initially Formula One 2006 has a steep learning curve.

Formula 1 2007 Full Download

Formula 1 2007: For sure this game has much to offer to counterbalance these shortcomings.....and then again that no support for force feedback comes into my mind. I know that the asphalt has no bumps and the ideal lines are perfect defined, but i also know that F1 pound the drivers with the greatest G-forces encountered in any sport and that the F1 cars do not have servo-steering. So this definitely has to be sensed in the manipulation of steering wheel. See here the walk to podium of exhausted Nigel Mansell after battling with Senna in the Monaco Grand Prix some 15 years ago. So if this wants to be professional, the must-features shall be present. On top of that put the only three supported racing wheels ( Logitech Driving Force Pro, Logitech Driving Force Rx, Logitech G25 Racing Wheel) and you will feel all of a sudden so limited. Anyway, maybe this will be solved with an update like it happened with Gran Turismo Hd. To continue with control interfaces issues; it was pretty weird when noticed that digital "X" and "square" buttons work at about 80% of analog sticks maximum acceleration/brake signal. That translates into 40 mph difference at the finish of a straight line. 200 mph terminal speed with the analog stick versus 160 with the digital buttons is a heck of difference. So if you wanna win races and beat lap times, analog sticks shall be used. The Sixaxis gyroscopic feature which allows players to control the steering by leaning the gamepad is not as accurate as you would like to. It's surely not good for beating lap times or winning races. F1 is boring stuff on Tv, so the virtual corespondent won't solve this issue if it happens for you to be one of that bored persons. But if you are a car setup lover and a perfectionist that does somewhere around 20 laps just to get a decent setup, this could be the game for you.

Formula 1 2008 Full Download

Formula 1 2008: When EA Sports' F1 series first bounded into our consciousness in 2000, it appeared as a thrilling and exacting, but somewhat flawed, strike at the reigning Formula 1 champs in Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix and Ubisoft's superb Monaco Grand Prix II. In the three short years since, developer Image Space Incorporated has tweaked the game through three revisions, the most recent of which drove this series to the top of the open-wheeled racing genre. Surely something even more exciting would arrive in the next edition. And it has, in the form of F1 Challenge '99-'02. Sadly, this excitement is somewhat tainted. Firstly, though the game is a grandiose and stunningly gorgeous affair that builds upon its already strong base by combining all four seasons from 1999 to 2002 into one neat package, it is not the huge face-lift some were expecting. Nor does it even brush upon the most recent season, 2003. Furthermore, there's little doubt that it feels like a backward-looking wrap-up--a parting shot--to a series that has unfortunately come to its fruition. And that's because it has. Indeed, F1 Challenge is to be the final installment of this superb franchise. Whether it is resurrected in the distant future is anyone's guess, but it is most assuredly gone for some time to come. According to EA, "The license was up, and we chose not to renew." According to its growing fan base, which has come to view F1 as the most authentic depiction of open-wheeled racing on any gaming platform--and leagues ahead of anything played on a console system--the end came far too soon. The good news is that EA and Image Space have given us a really big finale that is already the subject of numerous third-party modifications. F1 Challenge begins humbly, with a simple interface sporting a simple request to login with your chosen player ID. It then expands exponentially from there. Once you've entered your ID, which, thankfully, allows you to race as yourself rather than one of the game's 34 real-life F1 pilots, you have a big decision to make. Namely, you have to decide which of the last four seasons, excluding 2003, you wish to enter. To the uneducated driver, four separate seasons--each with many of the same venues and many of the same drivers, teams and cars--would mean very little. But the seasoned pro knows differently. Image Space has done a nice job in this respect, developing a unique set of parameters for each year. If a circuit has been altered, dropped, or added in the real world during those years (Hello, Indianapolis!), such changes are reflected in the game. If a driver has changed teams or a team changed sponsors or colors, you'll see it. When you create your ID, you'll also be asked to choose a nationality, a team, and a car in which to drive. The latter is quite important, as a fast, capable machine in the real world is also just that within the game. This means by selecting something like an also-ran British American Racing entry, you'll have to perform at an even higher level if you hope to dislodge the Ferraris and McLarens from their typical podium positions.

Transformers: The Game is the name of multiple versions of a video game based on the 2007 live action film Transformers, all of which were released in North America in June 2007. Home console and PC versions were developed by Traveller's Tales for the PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3 and PC. A different PlayStation Portable version was developed by Savage Entertainment. Transformers: Autobots and Transformers: Decepticons are the Nintendo DS versions of Transfomers: The Game. Vicarious Visions, who was tasked with bringing Transformers: The Game to the Nintendo DS, chose to adapt the DS version into two separate games. Transformers: Autobots follows the heroes' perspective while Transformers: Decepticons follows the perspective of the villains. The game (in all its versions) is mainly a third-person shooter. All the robots have at least four attack types: a light weapon, a heavy weapon, a melee attack, and the ability to throw objects such as cars, lampposts, trees, etc. As its title and characters imply, a robot can transform into a vehicle and viceversa, this gives the game some racing elements, as the player must, in some missions, race to certain point within a time limit or before a character of the opposing faction does. The cities are freely roamable, and there are also side-missions, Energon cubes and Autobot/Decepticon emblems scattered through the city, if accomplished successfully/collected the player can unlock trailers, production photos and unlock color schemes for certain characters.

Dead Space Full Download

Dead Space is a third-person survival horror-action video game, developed by EA Redwood Shores for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows and released in October 2008. The player takes on the role of an engineer named Isaac Clarke, who battles a polymorphic, virus-like, alien infestation called the "Corruption", which turns humans into grotesque alien monsters called "Necromorphs", on board a stricken interstellar mining ship. The player takes the role of Isaac Clarke (named after science fiction writers Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke), an engineer who must fight his way through a stricken mining ship infested by the Corruption, a hostile, virus-like, free-roaming alien DNA with the ability to reanimate the bodies of the dead, turning them into grotesque monstrosities called Necromorphs. The game features an 'over the shoulder' third-person perspective, similar to games Resident Evil 4, Dark Sector and Gears of War. The interface does not feature a traditional head-up display. Instead, information is relayed to the player via holographic projections, which hover over or in front of Isaac's weapons and armor and can even be part of his armor; much like the 'health meter' which is integrated into his spinal armor. An in-game store can be accessed where items can be bought and sold. The only menu in which the game is not still in progress is the pause menu and the save console menu (though the save console is only accessible in areas where there are no enemies and becomes inactive during cutscenes.)

Left 4 Dead Full Download

Left 4 Dead is a co-operative, survival horror, first-person shooter video game. It was developed by Turtle Rock Studios, which was purchased by the Valve Corporation part-way into development. The game uses the Source game engine, and is available for Windows-based personal computers and the Xbox 360. The game pits four Survivors of an apocalyptic pandemic against hordes of aggressive zombies. There are two game modes: a four-player, co-op Campaign mode, and an eight-player Versus mode. In both modes an AI, dubbed "The Director", controls level pacing and item spawns, in an attempt to create a dynamic experience and increase replay value. The game went gold on November 13, 2008, and was released on November 18, 2008 in the United States; and on November 21, 2008 in Europe to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the release of Half-Life. A five-minute trailer was released on Halloween. A playable demo was made available on November 6 for pre-purchasers and on November 11 for the general public, and was closed on November 18, 2008. The demo contained the majority of the first two chapters in the "No Mercy" campaign, and was playable in both single and multi-player co-op. Left 4 Dead was well received with an aggregate score of 88% on Game Rankings and 89% on Metacritic upon its release, with praise given for its replay value, focus on cooperative play, and movie-like experience. Similar to Team Fortress 2, Valve intends to support the game with downloadable content.

Spider-Man 2 is the name of several computer and video games based on the Spider-Man universe and particularly the Spider-Man 2 movie. It is a follow up to the game Spider-Man: The Movie. These games were published by Activision for different systems in 2004. The following overview is mainly concerned with the free-roaming console versions of the game. The player has the ability to choose either to go on with the storyline or swing around the city. The player can explore Manhattan, Roosevelt Island, Ellis Island, Liberty Island, and a mysterious label on the map over the water claiming "Governors Island" with many sidequests for the player to complete. The player can do random tasks to earn "hero points," which must be accumulated to continue with the plot and are spent on upgrading Spidey's skills. Spider-Man 2 features some of the voices of the original actors in the movie, Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man and Peter Parker, Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson, and Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus. In addition to the film's villain, Doctor Octopus, several characters from the Marvel comics appear in the game, including Black Cat and Mysterio. The home console game was released to generally positive reviews. The most popular aspect of the game was the web-swinging mechanic, where Spider-Man had to shoot webbing at an actual building, unlike previous games where he shot webbing up into the sky. However, parts of the game were highly criticized, such as the dullness of the side missions and the linearity of the story objectives (which many saw to be contrary to the developer's idea of creating a free-form game).

Assassin's Creed is a third-person stealth game in which the player primarily assumes the role of Altaïr as experienced by Desmond. The primary goal of the game is to carry out a series of assassinations ordered by Al Mualim, the leader of the Assassins. To achieve this goal, the player must travel from the Brotherhood's headquarters in Masyaf, across the terrain of the Holy Land known as the Kingdom to one of three cities, Jerusalem, Acre, or Damascus, to find the Brotherhood agent in that city. There, the agent, in addition to providing a safe house, gives the player minimal knowledge about the target, and requires them to perform additional intelligence gathering missions prior to attempting the assassination. These missions include eavesdropping, interrogation, pickpocketing, and completing tasks for informers and fellow assassins. Additionally, the player may take part in any number of side objectives, including climbing tall towers to map out the city, and saving citizens who are being threatened or harassed by the city guards. There are also various side quests that do not advance the plot such as hunting down and killing Templars and flag collecting. After completing each set of assassinations, the player is returned back to the Brotherhood and rewarded with a better weapon and then given another set of targets, with the player free to select the order of their targets.

Developers of the FIFA series made a complete overhaul of the game's engine for the 2006 installment of the game, asserting it has improved the control of play, having rewritten more than half the programming code for the game.

FIFA 09 is the latest installment of Electronic Arts' FIFA Series of football video games. Developed by EA Canada, it is published by Electronic Arts worldwide under the EA Sports label.
It was released on 2 October 2008 in Australia, 3 October 2008 in Europe and 14 October in North America. The N-Gage version was released on 18 November 2008. The demo was released on 10 September for PC and on 11 September for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The PS3 and Xbox 360 demos were identical with the exception of the stadium used with the PS3 featuring the FIWC Stadium and the Xbox 360 version using the new Wembley Stadium. There are different covers for the regional versions of FIFA 09. All covers feature Ronaldinho with different players for each region: North America version features Guillermo Ochoa and Maurice Edu, German cover features Kevin Kurányi, Italian cover features Daniele De Rossi, Irish cover features Richard Dunne, French cover features Franck Ribéry, and Karim Benzema, Hungarian cover features Balázs Dzsudzsák, Portuguese cover features Ricardo Quaresma, Spanish cover features Gonzalo Higuaín, Swiss cover features Tranquillo Barnetta and UK and Australian covers feature Wayne Rooney. After the North America cover had already been revealed, Maurice Edu signed for Scottish team Rangers F.C. and this caused the cover to be altered to feature Edu in a US National Team shirt and Ronaldinho is changed to wearing his Milan shirt, so that a club shirt was featured.

Freedom Fighters, originally titled Freedom: The Battle For Liberty Island, is a 2003 third-person shooter video game available for the Playstation 2, Nintendo GameCube, Xbox and Microsoft Windows that is set in an alternate present.
The player takes the role of Christopher Stone, a plumber-turned American resistance leader who fights against the Red Army that invades and occupies New York City. It was developed by IO Interactive, using a modified version of the Hitman 2: Silent Assassin game engine, and published by Electronic Arts. IO Interactive have mooted, but not confirmed, a sequel entitled Freedom Fighters 2. Freedom Fighters is a third-person shooter, in which the player navigates through the streets of New York while fighting the Soviet forces. Unlike other third-person shooters, the game also contains squad-based elements, having a charisma meter. The player gains charisma by performing heroic deeds in the resistance movement against the invading forces, like capturing a base or destroying vital supplies. The more charisma that is gained, the more squadmates the character can recruit, including leaderless guerrillas and wounded Russian soldiers, up to a maximum of twelve. Freedom Fighters is often credited in game reviews as having brought squad games "to the masses", by introducing a simple method of controlling recruits in battle. In the game, the player can command recruits by giving them simple orders such as "follow", "attack", and "defend", but in most situations, they take care of themselves. Given the terrain of New York City after the initial invasion, the Resistance usually stations its soldiers in covered positions like craters and buildings. It is in positions like these that a player can find freedom fighters and wounded Russian soldiers.

Mummy: This game is based on the movie of the same name and follows the story of an Egyptian Emperor who betrayed his master as he was sentenced to mummification in 1290BC. His soul is reawakened by some archaeologists and wreaks havoc upon the land.
Taking a third-person perspective, the player guides Rick O'Connor--the hero of the movie--through pyramids and mazes, fighting various villains, living skeletons and Scarab beetles while collecting treasure and solving puzzles along the way.The graphics are excellent, with cut sequences placed between each level to reveal more of the game's plot. The music is directly taken from the score of the film, which adds to the tension and excitement.To help the uninitiated of the gaming world dialogue boxes appear teaching you how to control O'Connor and these also act as a way to point out switches, levers and later on actually help to solve some of the more difficult puzzles. The playing arenas are vast, all with source lighting so as not to reveal too much to the player. With eight levels and 78 hidden bonus features, this game certainly is value for money.The Mummy, like its celluloid brother, is action-packed and fun to play. Soldier of Fortune 3: Payback Full Download

Soldier of Fortune: Payback is the third installment of the Soldier of Fortune game series.
Unlike the previous two Soldier of Fortune games, which were developed by Raven Software utilizing the Quake 2 and Quake 3 engines, Payback was developed by Cauldron HQ, developed with Cauldron's in-house CloakNT engine, used in their previous First Person Shooter game, Chaser. This game is the first game of the series released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The game was released on 14 November 2007. Upon being refused classification by Australia's OFLC, Activision is eyeing an early 2008 release date for that country. Up to 12 players can play online for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Multiplayer has only five maps and game modes available, such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag. The game has received overwhelmingly negative reviews, due to reported hard difficulty level and very poor gameplay. Though its graphics are good, it is plagued by a number of bugs and poor AI.

Based on comments and criticisms of the original game, Raven Software developed Soldier of Fortune II to be a more "realistic" game, with tactical shooters like Operation Flashpoint and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six as inspirations rather than Quake. A sequel titled Soldier of Fortune: Payback, made by Cauldron HQ was released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox360 and Playstation 3 in 2007. The series' focal point, graphic depiction of human bodily dismemberment, makes another appearance in Soldier of Fortune II. GHOUL 2.0, as the new engine was called, features 36 gore zones, allowing for increasingly detailed depictions of gore and carnage. A shot to the head can now blow away a chunk of scalp and expose the dripping brain beneath, and blown-off limbs will reveal jutting bones and spurting blood. At the same time, the gore was fashioned more believably, stylistically, than in the original game. More firepower is required to dismember or inflict open wounds. Designed as a tactical shooter, the player character is more vulnerable to enemy fire, and while he can still survive more than a dozen bullets thanks to his body armor, a single explosion can kill him instantly. Additionally, weapon recoil makes automatic firearms become increasingly inaccurate as they are fired, so if the player runs around firing continuously he or she will have difficulty hitting enemies. Running into the middle of a firefight will usually get the player killed, and game play requires a lot of ducking behind cover and leaning around corners to take shots.

However, the game is non-linear, and hence, the players are given the opportunity to explore any part of the world at any time they want to.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones is much like the previous two games in the series, in that it combines exploration and combat to create a unique synthesis. Both elements make use of the Prince's acrobatic capability and agility. Throughout much of the game, the player must attempt to traverse the palace by running across walls, ascending or descending chasms by jumping back and forth between walls, avoiding traps, climbing structures and jumping from platform to platform, making other types of well-timed leaps, solving puzzles, and using discovered objects to progress. The cultural setting of the game provides many linguistically interesting inscriptions to be found on walls. During combat, many of the same moves vital to the player in other situations can be put to use to overpower enemies. Such an example is the ability of the Prince to rebound off walls in order to strike enemies decisively. You can also vault over the enemies backs and then finish them off in two hits. The player generally attacks enemies and blocks using a sword, although other objects/factors, such as the Dagger of Time and its time-control abilities eventually prove to be critical to victory.

A port of Warrior Within was done by Pipeworks, renamed as Prince of Persia: Revelations, and it was released on December 6, 2005 for Sony's PlayStation Portable. The port includes additional content including three new areas not available in the original release. Critical reviews of Warrior Within were generally positive, though not as positive as Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. It was commonly agreed amongst popular reviewers that the platforming and adventure elements of the game were equal to, or exceeded, those of its predecessor.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent is the fourth installment in the Splinter Cell series of video games developed and published by Ubisoft. There are actually two separate versions of Double Agent. One version (Version one) was made by Ubisoft Shanghai, who developed Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and was released on the Xbox 360, Windows, and PlayStation 3. The other version (Version two) was made by Ubisoft Montreal (Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory) and was released for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo Wii. The Xbox 360/PlayStation 3/Windows versions feature a completely custom engine while the PS2/Xbox/Wii versions play more like the classic Splinter Cell games. The games share the same general plot but each one features different storylines, plot twists, and levels. Even the levels they share have completely different level designs. They do however, share the same background music and share a few cut scenes.

The game follows the covert activities of Sam Fisher, an agent working for a black-ops branch of the N.S.A. called "Third Echelon". The character, Sam Fisher, is voiced by Michael Ironside. Dennis Haysbert, best known for his role as David Palmer on the television show 24 is the voice for the character Irving Lambert, Fisher's boss, making this the only time he is not voiced by Don Jordan. Lalo Schifrin provides the theme music for the game. The game has been translated to several languages for international distribution. Pandora Tomorrow was entitled Shadow Strike during its development. The gameplay of Pandora Tomorrow is largely unchanged from the original Splinter Cell. The game features some moderate graphical improvements, as well as minor gameplay changes such as the fact that collectible health kits are no longer an inventory item, and the addition of a laser sight to Sam's pistol that allows the player to know exactly where the rounds will strike, even when moving around. Also, Sam can now open doors while carrying a body, shoot while hanging upside down, SWAT turn past doorways unnoticed, and perform a half split jump. The pistol laser was replaced with an OCP and the SWAT turn was removed in Chaos Theory, the next entry in the series. The PS2 and GC versions also feature an additional single player mission

A new feature is a boss-like enemy: the Nemesis, an experimental Tyrant-type model programmed by Umbrella to hunt down and kill the remaining STARS members. Nemesis is very different from most enemies. He can run, use weapons, and has a dodge move, and is the first monster capable of pursuing the player from one area to the next. Nemesis is encountered throughout the game, in set-pieces, boss fights, and the occasional random encounter as the player explores the city. Even if defeated in combat, Nemesis will eventually get back up and continue the pursuit. In a departure from the game's predecessors, the player cannot choose between two playable characters from the beginning. Instead, the game is played almost entirely as Jill, although there is a short section in which the player controls Carlos. Resident Evil 3 incorporates a dodge move that allows the player to avoid or repel enemy attacks. The player can also use a new quick turn ability, spinning 180 degrees, allowing the player to escape or turn to face an enemy very quickly. Getting up or down staircases can now be freely done just by walking to them, and does not require the player to press the action button; enemies can now follow the player up or down stairs.
